I have never been the quiet kid in class, and I've never been the teachers pet. I'm not a rockstar, or a ninja, and I don't have all the answers. But I'm patient, passionate, and very, very curious. I know what kinds of questions to ask and when to ask them in order to find meaningful, actionable insights.
Most recently I have worked as an Information Systems Architect and User Researcher at the University of Toronto, researching how academics use knowledge management and information storage systems, and redesigning their Information Architecture systems, policy, and associated pages.
I pride myself in my depth as a researcher, and have a mixed background that lets me combine qualitative User Research with quantitative Analytics to look produce real human insights backed by data. My education in Behavioural Economics, Sociology, and Business further colour insights and help to paint a story about how and why users behave how they do.
Outside of UX I am inspired by the world of gaming, films, and the stories and worlds that connect people to one another.
